About Rotary International
What is Rotary International?
Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 34,000 clubs in nearly every country in the world. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio. Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe under the motto Service Above Self.
Rotary clubs are open to people of all cultures and ethnicities and are not affiliated with any political or religious organizations.
